As the year 2020 closed, the personal finance category on Android saw significant user engagement across Latin America. Sensor Tower provides us with a detailed look at the top five budgeting and planning applications' performance in the fourth quarter.

Splitwise, a popular bill splitting app, saw an impressive increase in downloads from 4 thousand in the last week of September to 12 thousand by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at approximately 20 thousand and peaking at over 25 thousand in the same period.

Downloads saw a slight decline from over 6 thousand to approximately 5 thousand, while weekly active users had a slight drop from 34 thousand to around 34 thousand by the year's end.

Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter but ended on a high note at over 2 thousand, while weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 7 thousand to approximately 7 thousand.
